Una colomba candida e gentile
coronata di perle e in forma umana
vidi: non so ben dir se fu Diana.
Degna di tanta riverenza in vista
donna mi parve, ch'i' non so qual dea
si rapresenti, Febe o Citerea,
lieta nel
viso, onesta e bella quanto
Marzia ma' fosse, di Catone spechio,
che di virtute non trova parechio.
Ma sie qual voglia, ché ragion mi move
di figurarla a la sposa di Giove
