vidi un'orsa ch'odorava un fiore
che fu già donna 'nfiammata d'amore.

Trassemi Venus al ciel dilettoso,
sì ch'ancor tremo di fredd'amoroso
Translation
Among a clump of green frondage, near the fountain,
I saw a she-bear smelling a flower.
She was once a woman inflamed with love.
......
Venus took me to her delectable heaven,
so that I still tremble with amorous
chill.
