e du' amanti al foco:
merzé, chiamar mercé non ci fa loco.
Giova 'n natura libertà cercare:
Amor questo non vuol, perché non s'usa
ne la sua alta corte liberare
amante che
per se stesso s'accusa;
ma dà sentenzia, senza nulla scusa,
che in ghiaccio e in foco
l'un senza l'altro non possa star poco
